Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted the 2026 Transit Development Plan (TDP) Major Update, covering the 10-year period from Fiscal Year 2026 through Fiscal Year 2035. This plan, branded as MDT10Ahead, is a requirement for transit agencies receiving state funds and serves as a strategic guide for transit needs, infrastructure, investment, and anticipated future demand. It includes an analysis of land use and transit integration, demand estimation, and a 10-year operating and capital program. Public outreach included a survey with over 5,000 responses, pop-up events, social media efforts, and input from an Advisory Review Committee. The plan was forwarded to the Florida Department of Transportation for consideration.
