AMEND CDMP - COMMERCIAL VEHICLE STORAGE

Board of County Commissioners · 2026-07-21 · resolution

Miami-Dade County Commissioners are directing the County Mayor to file an application to amend the Comprehensive Development Master Plan (CDMP) to allow more flexibility in meeting the minimum 10-acre requirement for commercial vehicle storage. This includes allowing properties that are not adjacent but are within a certain distance (e.g., separated by a roadway or single intervening parcel) or under common ownership to be aggregated. The County Mayor is also directed to evaluate vacant county-owned parcels for suitability for commercial vehicle storage and provide a report within 90 days. A limited stay of enforcement actions for certain commercial vehicle storage violations will be implemented for one year. The Board of County Commissioners deferred this matter on 6/2/2026 and previously on 12/16/2025.
