AMEND CDMP - COMMERCIAL VEHICLE STORAGE
Board of County Commissioners · 2026-07-21 · resolution
Miami-Dade County Commissioners are directing the County Mayor or designee to file an application to amend the Comprehensive Development Master Plan (CDMP) to allow more flexibility in meeting the minimum 10-acre requirement for commercial vehicle storage. This includes allowing aggregation of non-adjoining or non-adjacent parcels within a certain distance, or parcels under common ownership. The Mayor's office will also evaluate vacant county-owned parcels for suitability for commercial vehicle storage and report findings within 90 days. A limited stay of enforcement actions for certain commercial vehicle storage violations will be implemented for one year. The Board of County Commissioners deferred this matter on 6/2/2026 and previously on 12/16/2025.
