Miami-Dade County Commission is authorizing an amended and restated county deed to Building Better Communities of South Florida, Inc. This action allows for the conveyance of three previously conveyed county properties (Folio Nos. 10-7813-050-0380, 30-5032-000-0370, and 30-5032-000-0380) to its affiliate, Javon Gardens LLC, a joint venture with Pyramid Construction. The resolution also grants a two-year extension, until July 29, 2028, for Building Better Communities to obtain final certificates of occupancy for multi-family rental units intended for very low-, low-, or moderate-income households. The original purpose was single-family homes under the Infill Housing Program, which was previously amended to multi-family rental units.
