Miami-Dade County Commission deferred a resolution authorizing the submission of a demolition application to HUD for the Arthur Mays Villas Public Housing Development. The Department of Housing and Community Development has held multiple meetings with residents and plans further outreach and stakeholder engagement through the Goulds Forward Choice Neighborhoods Initiative. 13 units are currently occupied and will be relocated upon HUD approval.
