The project is a 10.16-acre mixed-use development. The Board of County Commissioners adopted the ordinance on first reading on 4/21/2026. The item was deferred by Commissioner Regalado to the July 21, 2026, Board of County Commissioners meeting. The petition was filed by Sunset Opportunities B1, LLC. and Sunset C1, LLC. The establishment of the district is intended to provide a financing mechanism for community infrastructure and maintenance.
