This emergency action was necessitated by a construction incident on April 25, 2025, involving Suffolk Construction Company, Inc., which compromised the electrical systems of the Lightspeed Facility, a critical hub housing the 911 call center, 311 operations, and the Real Time Crime Center. Solares Electrical Services, Inc. was already on-site and uniquely qualified to provide immediate oversight and maintenance to prevent disruption to essential public safety services.
