Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is set to ratify an emergency contract for Electrical Infrastructure Oversight and Maintenance Service. The contract, number E-10684, is awarded to Solares Electrical Services, Inc. for $358,256.00. This emergency action was necessitated by a construction incident on April 25, 2025, involving Suffolk Construction Company, Inc., which compromised the electrical systems of the Lightspeed Facility. Lightspeed is a critical facility housing the 911 call center, 311 operations, and the Real Time Crime Center (RTCC).
