Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering the ratification of Emergency Contract No. E-10684 for Electrical Infrastructure Oversight and Maintenance Service to Solares Electrical Services, Inc. for $358,256. This contract is for the People and Internal Operations Department and covers services at the Lightspeed Facility, which houses critical operations like the 911 call center and Real Time Crime Center. The emergency was declared following a construction incident on April 25, 2025, by Suffolk Construction Company, Inc. that compromised electrical systems.
