Miami-Dade County is exchanging 3.889 acres of county-owned land for 1.318 acres of South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) property. The county-owned land is bounded by SW 26 Street, SW 28 Street, SW 173 Avenue, and SW 172 Court. The SFWMD property is located along the west right-of-way of SW 157th Avenue between SW 42nd Street and SW 26th Street. This exchange is necessary for the County Roadway Project to improve and widen SW 157th Avenue. Both properties are valued at $175,000.00. The Infrastructure, Innovation & Technology Committee forwarded this item to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation.
