Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners awarded Contract No. S-16113 for wastewater and water service to commercial properties in the Green Tech Corridor S-1 North. The contract, valued at $12,506,147.00, will be performed by All Construction & Plumbing, Inc. over 627 calendar days. The project involves installing approximately 12,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer gravity pipe, manholes, and laterals, and replacing approximately 4,000 linear feet of aging water mains, including fire hydrants. This initiative aims to transition properties from septic systems to the County's sanitary sewer system as part of the Connect to Protect initiative, supporting economic growth and environmental health. Funding will come from the Building Better Communities General Obligation Bond Program and other WASD funds.
