Miami-Dade County is establishing the Harmony Homes Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district will provide maintenance for landscaped areas, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, and lakes, as well as street lighting services. The initial estimated cost for multipurpose maintenance is $79,437.60 annually, and for street lighting, it is $125,783.92 for the first year and $29,042.16 for the second year. The developer, Harmony Three, LLC, requested the district, and 100% of property owners signed the petition. The district is expected to begin street lighting services in November 2028.
