Miami-Dade County is establishing the Harmony Homes Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district will provide maintenance for landscaped areas, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, and lakes, as well as street lighting services. The initial estimated cost for multipurpose maintenance is $79,437.60 annually, and for street lighting, it is $125,783.92 for the first year and $29,042.16 for the second year. The developer, Harmony Three, LLC, is responsible for the first year's street lighting costs. The district is generally bounded by SW 325 Street (North), SW 194 Avenue (East), SW 328 Street (South), and SW 197 Avenue (West). The project is expected to include approximately 115 single-family homes. The Board of County Commissioners is scheduled to consider this ordinance, with a first reading on July 21, 2026, and a public hearing tentatively set for September 1, 2026. The creation of this district is a subdivision requirement.
