Miami-Dade County is establishing the Harmony Homes Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district will provide maintenance for landscaped areas, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, and lakes, as well as street lighting services. The initial costs for multipurpose maintenance are estimated at $79,437.60 annually, and for street lighting, the first year's cost is estimated at $125,783.92, with subsequent years estimated at $29,042.16. The project is in draft status, with a first reading on June 15, 2026, and an agenda date of July 21, 2026. The developer, Harmony Three, LLC, requested the district, and 100% of property owners signed the petition. Street lighting services are expected to commence in November 2028, following developer provision for the first year. Maintenance services will begin after developer and association/CDD cessation of services.
