Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to approve the issuance of multifamily housing revenue debt obligations, not to exceed $32,680,000.00, by the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County. The funds will be loaned to Colony Lakes Housing, L.P. to finance the acquisition and rehabilitation of a multifamily housing rental project known as Colony Lakes. The project is located on approximately 15 acres and will provide approximately 220 units of rental housing for low, moderate, or middle-income persons or families. A public hearing was held on June 17, 2026, and disclosed no reason why the debt should not be issued. The Bonds are expected to be issued by September of 2026. The debt will be payable solely from the revenues provided by the Borrower and does not represent a debt or obligation of the County.
