Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to approve the issuance of multifamily housing revenue debt obligations, not to exceed $32,680,000.00, by the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County. The funds will be loaned to Colony Lakes Housing, L.P. to finance the acquisition and rehabilitation of the Colony Lakes multifamily housing rental project, which is approximately 15 acres and will provide around 220 rental units for low, moderate, or middle-income persons or families. A public hearing was held on June 17, 2026, and disclosed no reason why the debt should not be issued. The Bonds are expected to be issued by September of 2026. The debt is not a general obligation of the County but is payable solely from revenues provided by the Borrower.
