HYDRAULIC PARTS

Board of County Commissioners · 2026-07-21 · resolution

Miami-Dade County is establishing a prequalification pool for Hydraulic Parts, Supplies, and Repair Services (Pool No. EVN0025344) for an eight-year term, with a total allocation of $31,400,591.00. This pool will serve multiple County departments, including Aviation, Corrections and Rehabilitation, Fire Rescue, Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces, People and Internal Operations, PortMiami, Solid Waste Management, Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), and Water and Sewer. The pool aims to provide timely access to qualified vendors for maintaining and repairing County equipment and fleet, including light and heavy-duty machinery. The establishment of this pool was recommended by the Infrastructure, Innovation & Technology Committee and is before the Board of County Commissioners for final action. Seven vendors have been prequalified for inclusion, with six being local firms and two certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms. The pool will remain open for additional vendors. The previous pool (RTQ-00580) expires October 31, 2026. The increased allocation accounts for higher demand, inflation, aging equipment, and expanded operational needs, particularly for DTPW with the upcoming South Dade Transit Operations Center.
