INFILL HOUSING CONVEYANCE-ELITE EQUITY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Miami-Dade County Commissioners are considering the conveyance of four county-owned properties for affordable housing development. The properties, identified by Folio Numbers 10-7813-011-0090, 10-7812-007-0640, 30-7908-026-0180, and 30-7908-026-0150, are to be declared surplus and conveyed to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami, Inc. and Elite Equity Development, Inc. for $10.00 each. The developers are required to build affordable housing for very low-, low-, or moderate-income households within two years of the conveyance, subject to a reverter clause. The agenda item was deferred from the July 21, 2026, meeting to September 1, 2026, at the request of Commissioner Cohen Higgins. The Housing Committee previously forwarded the item to the Board of County Commissioners with a favorable recommendation.
