INFILL HOUSING CONVEYANCE-ELITE EQUITY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Miami-Dade County Commission is considering the conveyance of four county-owned properties to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami, Inc. and Elite Equity Development, Inc. for the development of affordable housing. The properties, identified by folio numbers, are declared surplus and will be conveyed for $10.00 each. The developers are required to build affordable housing for very low-, low-, or moderate-income households within two years of the conveyance. The Board of County Commissioners is authorizing the conveyance, waiving certain notice and background information requirements. The matter was forwarded to the BCC with a favorable recommendation from the Housing Committee and a deferral was requested to the September 1, 2026 meeting.
