Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is considering the plat approval for Verdana East. The project is located in the SW 1/4 of Section 12, Township 56 South, Range 39 East. It is bounded by SW 212 Street to the north, approximately 100 feet west of SW 125 Path to the east, approximately 615 feet north of SW 216 Street to the south, and SW 127 Avenue to the west. The developer, TPG AG EHC III (LEN) MULTI STATE 2, LLC, proposes to develop 54 single-family residences (SFR) on 54 parcels. The current zoning is RU-1M(a). The Miami-Dade County Plat Committee recommends approval. The BCC is scheduled to review this quasi-judicial matter on July 21, 2026. The developer is responsible for drainage, pavement, sidewalks, curbs, street signs, traffic control, and monumentation, bonded under SB2026000032 for $1,981,700. The fiscal impact to the county for maintenance of new roadway construction is estimated at $2,500.00 annually.
