LAP AGREEMENTS FOR SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is set to ratify two Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreements with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) totaling $268,753. These agreements are for Safe Routes to School (SRTS) design improvements. One agreement, valued at $96,229, is for North Miami Beach Senior High School, and the other, valued at $172,524, is for Homestead Middle School. The County will receive program funds from FDOT, with upfront funding provided by the DTPW General Fund, which will be reimbursed. The County Mayor or designee is authorized to execute contracts, agreements, and amendments related to these funds.
