The AMI is crucial for determining eligibility for various national, state, and local housing programs, including the Housing Choice Voucher program, public housing, low-income housing tax credits, and Miami-Dade County's own programs like the Infill Housing Initiative and Workforce Housing Administration. The current AMI for all families in Miami-Dade County is $89,800, and for a family of four, it is $136,200 as of May 2026. The report is due within 90 days of the resolution's effective date.
