Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to waive competitive bidding procedures to approve a Programming Partnership Operating and Management Agreement between Miami-Dade County and Pelican Harbor Seabird Station, Inc. This agreement allows Pelican Harbor Seabird Station, Inc. to continue operating the Pelican Harbor Seabird Station for the care of sick and injured seabirds at Pelican Harbor Marina, 1279 NE 79 Street Causeway, Miami, Florida 33138, until April 1, 2027. The organization has been operating at this location since 1990 and is planning to relocate to a new facility. The agreement requires yearly fees to the County in the amount of $300.00.
