Miami-Dade County is exploring a pilot program for the sale of Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) for reuse as biofuel or other purposes. The County Mayor or designee is directed to prepare this program for Board review and approval, including expedited regulatory approvals, technical assistance, and data collection. The study will also identify necessary changes to state or county regulations, with input from the EPA and FDEP. The report and any proposed amendments are due within 90 days of the resolution's effective date.
