REMOVING ROW DESIGNATION NW 9 AVENUE AND BOB HOPE ROAD

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering removing the public road right-of-way designation from a portion of county-owned property located at the intersection of NW 9 Avenue and Bob Hope Road, south of NW 15 Street, in the City of Miami. This action is requested by the Department of Transportation and Public Works and is intended to allow the County to sell the parcel to the University of Miami for full market value. The removal is necessitated by a separate road closing petition for NW 9 Avenue initiated by an abutting private property owner, which would incorporate that land into the University of Miami's property.
