Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering removing the public road right-of-way designation from a portion of county-owned property at the intersection of NW 9 Avenue and Bob Hope Road, south of NW 15 Street, in Section 35, Township 53 South, Range 41 East, City of Miami. This action is requested by the Department of Transportation and Public Works, with a favorable recommendation from the Transportation Committee. The removal of this designation will allow the County to sell the parcel to the University of Miami for future development, contingent on the City of Miami approving a separate road closing petition for the adjacent NW 9 Avenue segment.
