Miami-Dade County Commission is considering a resolution to authorize the execution of an Amended and Restated County Deed for Palmetto Homes Urban Development Group, Inc. This resolution grants a two-year extension from the recording of the deed for the construction and sale of single-family homes through the Infill Housing Program. The original conveyance of these properties was authorized by Resolution No. R-1069-20, and a prior extension was granted by Resolution No. R-548-23. The developer requested this further extension on October 6, 2025. The resolution authorizes the County Mayor or designee to enforce the deed provisions and exercise reversionary interests if necessary. Signage identifying the County and district commissioner will be placed on the properties.
