Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is considering a resolution to amend Resolution No. R-38-26. This amendment will approve and authorize the County Mayor or designee to execute a Revised Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) and the Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County (PAMDC). The MOA facilitates the sharing of Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) participant addresses and landlord information for property assessment and compliance purposes. Revisions clarify and expand the categories of documents and information HCD provides to PAMDC, specify timelines and transmission formats, and revise the hold harmless and indemnification section. The Revised Agreement incorporates a HUD legal opinion and directives. The Housing Committee forwarded this item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation.
