TRUE NORTH CLASSICAL ACADEMY

Miami-Dade County is considering the issuance of revenue bonds not to exceed $40,000,000.00 for the benefit of True North Classical Academy, Inc. The purpose is to fund capital projects, including the acquisition, construction, expansion, remodeling, renovation, improvement, furnishing, and/or equipping of educational facilities for True North Classical Academy at Gateway. The Arizona Industrial Development Authority will issue the bonds, with proceeds loaned to Equitable Facilities Fund, Inc. or its affiliate, which will then loan the funds to True North Classical Academy, Inc. This approval is required for federal tax purposes under Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code. A public hearing was held and the Board of County Commissioners is expected to approve the bond issuance.
