INFILL HOUSING EXTENSION OF DEEDS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the execution of amended and restated county deeds to grant a two-year extension for construction and sale of single-family homes through the Infill Housing Program. The extension applies to properties previously conveyed to Little Haiti Housing Association, Inc. d/b/a Haitian American Community Development Corp., Collective Developers, LLC, and Integral Florida, LLC. The developers cited administrative delays, legal review, policy, legislative, and construction challenges, and the need for revised agency plans as reasons for requesting the extension. The resolution also authorizes the County Mayor or designee to enforce deed provisions and exercise reversionary interests if necessary. Signage identifying the County and district commissioner will be placed on the properties.
