Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is considering a resolution to authorize the execution of amended and restated county deeds. This action will allow Building Better Communities of South Florida, Inc. to convey previously conveyed county properties to its affiliate, Javon Gardens LLC. The resolution also grants a two-year extension for obtaining final certificates of occupancy for multi-family rental units intended for very low, low, or moderate-income households. The original conveyance was for single-family homes under the Infill Housing Program, but a prior resolution allowed for multi-family rental units.
