Miami-Dade County is seeking authorization to receive and expend $62,512,577.00 in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Fiscal Year 2025 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program funds for homeless housing and services. This includes entering into renewal grant and sub-grant agreements and exercising modification clauses. The resolution waives a requirement for agreements to be finalized by all non-county parties to expedite contract renewal. The Housing Committee forwarded the resolution to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation as corrected. A scrivener's error was noted and corrected regarding a resolution reference. The Homeless Trust Board approved the matters on multiple dates.
