Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is considering a resolution to authorize the County Mayor or designee to receive and expend $62,512,577.00 in United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Fiscal Year 2025 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program funds for homeless housing and services. The resolution also authorizes entering into renewal grant and sub-grant agreements and waiving a requirement for all non-county parties to finalize agreements before execution to expedite the process. The Housing Committee forwarded the item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation as corrected. The funds are for Calendar Year 2026 and will reimburse non-profit providers and select municipalities for expenses.
