Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-316-26, approving Change Order No. 2 to Contract No. S-984 between Miami-Dade County and Ric-Man International, Inc. This change order increases the contract amount by $157,639.43, bringing the total award to $7,403,920.18. The project involves the installation of water and wastewater services to commercial properties in the Green Tech Corridor, Basin S-2, Phase 1, located on the east side of NW 27th Avenue. The increase is to cover overruns related to asphalt pavement and restoration of pavement markings due to inadequate sub-grade conditions. Funds will be utilized from the Building Better Communities General Obligation Bond Program Project No. 17. The original contract was for water and wastewater services, including approximately 5,710 linear feet of sanitary sewer gravity pipe and 3,850 linear feet of water main. Change Order No. 1 previously addressed unsuitable soil conditions and utility installations.
