EXCHANGE PROPERTY BETWEEN COUNTY AND THE SOUTH FLORIDA

Miami-Dade County and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) are exchanging land parcels. The County will receive 1.318 acres of SFWMD property, identified as Parcels 2, 5, 7, 8, and 11, valued at $175,000.00, for roadway improvements to SW 157th Avenue. In exchange, the County will convey 3.889 acres of its own land, bounded by SW 26 Street, SW 28 Street, SW 173 Avenue, and SW 172 Court, also valued at $175,000.00. The Infrastructure, Innovation & Technology Committee forwarded this item to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation.
