HYDRAULIC PARTS
Infrastructure, Innovation & Technology Committee · 2026-06-10 · resolution
Miami-Dade County is establishing a prequalification pool for Hydraulic Parts, Supplies, and Repair Services, with an estimated total allocation of $31,400,591.00 for an eight-year term. This pool will serve multiple County departments, including Aviation, Corrections and Rehabilitation, Fire Rescue, Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces, People and Internal Operations, PortMiami, Solid Waste Management, Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), and Water and Sewer. The pool aims to provide timely access to qualified vendors for maintenance and repair of County equipment and fleet, including light and heavy-duty vehicles and hydraulically operated machinery. The pool is divided into two groups: Group 1 for Hydraulic Parts and Supplies, and Group 2 for Hydraulic Repair Services. Seven vendors have been prequalified for inclusion, with outreach continuing for additional vendors. The establishment of this pool replaces a previous pool (RTQ-00580) and reflects increased demand, inflation, and the need to replace aging components. The Department of Transportation and Public Works' allocation is notably increased due to expanded operational demands and the planned opening of the South Dade Transit Operations Center.
