Miami-Dade County is establishing a prequalification pool for Hydraulic Parts, Supplies, and Repair Services (Prequalification Pool No. EVN0025344) for multiple County departments. The pool has a total allocation of $31,400,591.00 for an eight-year term. This pool will replace a previous one and aims to provide timely access to qualified vendors for maintenance and repair of County equipment, including light and heavy-duty vehicles and machinery. The pool is divided into two groups: Group 1 for Hydraulic Parts and Supplies, and Group 2 for Hydraulic Repair Services. The Infrastructure, Innovation & Technology Committee forwarded this item to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation. Seven vendors have been prequalified for inclusion, with outreach continuing for additional participants. The County Mayor or designee can add vendors to the pool at any time, subject to bi-annual ratification by the Board. Contract awards exceeding $5,000,000.00, or $1,500,000.00 for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, require Board ratification. The increased allocation reflects higher demand, inflation, and the need to replace aging components.
