Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-297-26 on April 21, 2026, approving Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. (Contract A19-ISD-02 GOB ESP). This amendment extends the PSA term by 10 months, through May 31, 2026, and authorizes an additional expenditure of $335,050, bringing the total modified contract amount to $6,008,597. These funds are for AECOM to continue providing architectural and engineering construction management services as the Owner's Representative for the New Civil and Probate Courthouse Project, including oversight of final completion activities and closeout documentation. The extension is necessitated by delays attributed to the Developer (Plenary Justice Miami, LLC), which caused Occupancy Readiness to be 606 days late. The funding is from Building Better Communities General Obligation Bond funds. A 10% Small Business Enterprise-Architectural and Engineering Services goal was applied to the original contract but does not apply to this amendment.
