Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is considering a Resolution to approve and authorize the execution of a standard form Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Miami-Dade County and municipalities for debris removal, staging, reduction, long-range hauling, and monitoring services. This MOU is intended for hurricane recovery efforts. The Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) has existing competitively bid contracts for these services. The requesting municipality will compensate the County for services rendered. The Intergovernmental and Economic Impact Committee forwarded this item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation.
