Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners amended Implementing Orders (IOs) 4-42, 4-63, and 4-111 to modify fees for regulatory activities. These changes are in response to new state laws: HB 803 requires fee reductions for projects using private providers for plan review or inspections, and HB 399 prohibits fees calculated as a percentage of construction costs, requiring fees to be based on project complexity and staff effort.
