CITY OF HOMESTEAD LICENSE AGREEMENT

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to approve a license agreement with the City of Homestead for the use of a parking lot at Harris Field Park. The agreement will allow Miami-Dade County Animal Services Department to operate a mobile spay/neuter unit. The license fee is $1.00 per year. This initiative aims to reduce unwanted litters and animals entering shelters. The Intergovernmental and Economic Impact Committee forwarded the resolution to the BCC with a favorable recommendation. The City of Homestead has already adopted the agreement via Resolution No. R2026-05-98.
