The Board of County Commissioners is considering the amended Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget for the Omni Community Redevelopment Agency and the Omni Community Redevelopment Area. The total amended budget is $73,064,289.00. This budget was previously approved by the Omni Community Redevelopment Agency on February 12, 2026, and by the City of Miami on February 26, 2026. The budget includes various funding sources such as County TIF, City TIF, carryover funds, and a Children's Trust contribution. Expenditures are allocated to administrative costs, operating expenses, professional services, grants, debt service, land acquisition, construction projects in progress, obligations with other governments (including Performing Arts Center, Seaport tunnel, Children's Trust programs, and Maurice Ferre Park), and reserves. The redevelopment area is located within County Commission Districts 3 and 5. The agency and redevelopment area are scheduled to sunset in 2047. The Intergovernmental and Economic Impact Committee forwarded this item to the Board with a favorable recommendation on July 15, 2026. A $150 million bond to fund projects within the redevelopment plan is pending approval by the Board of County Commissioners.
