AGREEMENT WITH DHS - TRAIL GLADES

Miami-Dade County is seeking to ratify an agreement with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for the use of Trail Glades Range facilities for training purposes. The agreement is for a one-year term with an estimated payment of $216,320.00. The Board of County Commissioners is being asked to approve this resolution, which would also delegate authority to the County Mayor or designee to enter into future similar agreements. The Recreation, Tourism, and Resiliency Committee forwarded this item to the Board with a favorable recommendation. CBP has utilized the range facilities since 2010.
