AGREEMENT WITH DHS - TRAIL GLADES

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to ratify an agreement with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for the use of Trail Glades Range facilities for training purposes. The agreement is for a one-year term with an estimated payment of $216,320.00. The Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department will oversee compliance. The CBP has utilized the range since 2010. The resolution also delegates authority to the County Mayor or designee to enter into future similar agreements, provided they do not have a negative fiscal impact on the County.
