Miami-Dade County is approving 19 grant award agreements totaling $285,000.00 for the FY 2025-2026 Visual and Media Artists Grant Program, with $165,000.00 allocated from Miami-Dade County's budget. The South Florida Cultural Consortium, an alliance of cultural affairs departments from Miami-Dade, Broward, Martin, Monroe, and Palm Beach counties, recommended these grants after reviewing 339 applications. The Board of County Commissioners is being asked to waive Resolution R-130-06 to expedite funding.
