Miami-Dade County is acting as fiscal agent for the South Florida Cultural Consortium to approve 19 grant award agreements totaling $285,000.00 for the FY 2025-2026 Visual and Media Artists Grant Program. Of this total, $165,000.00 is allocated on behalf of Miami-Dade County. The grants are awarded to South Florida artists from Miami-Dade, Broward, Martin, Monroe, and Palm Beach counties. The process involved reviews by regional and national panels of art experts. The Board of County Commissioners is being asked to approve these agreements and waive Resolution No. R-130-06 to expedite funding. The County Mayor or designee is authorized to execute the grant agreements.
