Miami-Dade County is acting as fiscal agent for the South Florida Cultural Consortium to approve 19 grant award agreements totaling $285,000.00 for the FY 2025-2026 Visual and Media Artists Grant Program. Of this total, $165,000.00 is allocated for Miami-Dade County artists. The grants were recommended by regional and national panels of art experts after reviewing 339 applications. The Board of County Commissioners is being asked to approve these agreements and waive Resolution No. R-130-06 to expedite funding. The program benefits artists across Miami-Dade, Broward, Martin, Monroe, and Palm Beach counties.
