Miami-Dade County, acting as fiscal agent for the South Florida Cultural Consortium, is approving 19 grant award agreements totaling $285,000.00 for the FY 2025-2026 Visual and Media Artists Grant Program. Of this total, $165,000.00 is allocated on behalf of Miami-Dade County. The grants are awarded to South Florida artists across five counties: Miami-Dade, Broward, Martin, Monroe, and Palm Beach. The process involved review by regional and national panels of art experts. The Board of County Commissioners is authorizing the County Mayor or designee to execute these agreements and is waiving Resolution R-130-06 to expedite funding.
