Miami-Dade County, through the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department, is seeking retroactive approval to accept and expend $21,113.26 in grant funds from the Florida Department of Health's Emergency Medical Services Matching Grant Program. These funds are designated for the expansion and enhancement of emergency medical services, specifically for the procurement of EMS stair chairs and electronic Patient Care Report (ePCR) tablets. The county may also utilize up to $7,037.76 for cash match funding requirements. The Safety and Health Committee forwarded this item to the Board of County Commissioners with a favorable recommendation. The project is countywide in scope.
