Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Business Associate Agreement (BAA), and Qualified Service Organization Agreement with Airojen Center, Corp., d/b/a Comprehensive Psychiatric Center (CPC). This agreement will allow CPC to provide behavioral health counseling, toxicology and infectious disease screenings, supportive services, and the storage and administration of Methadone for Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) at the New Direction Residential Treatment Facility. The term is two years with three one-year renewal options. The Safety and Health Committee forwarded this to the BCC with a favorable recommendation. The project involves expanding MAT services at the New Direction facility located at 3140 NW 76th Street, Miami, FL 33147. The County expects to serve approximately 1,500 residents through 2025 via New Direction.
